NUMBER ONE TATTOO REMOVAL
Common questions, answered plainly.
A mix of questions we hear from clients considering removal and professionals considering the product.
For Clients
How does saline removal actually work?
The solution is worked into the tattooed area, which creates a controlled surface scab. As your skin naturally heals and the scab lifts, it draws pigment out with it.
Does it hurt?
Most clients compare the sensation to getting the original tattoo — a mild sting during treatment, with redness and swelling as it heals.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the size, age, and color density of your tattoo. Your provider will give you a realistic estimate at your consultation rather than a generic number.
Is it safe for all skin types?
Yes — one advantage over laser is that saline removal doesn’t rely on targeting pigment with light, so it carries less risk of discoloration across skin tones.
Can it be used on permanent makeup, not just tattoos?
Yes. It’s commonly used for correcting or lightening brows, eyeliner, and lip pigment in addition to standard body tattoos.
For Professionals
Who can purchase A+ Ocean?
Wholesale accounts are limited to trained and licensed professionals — tattoo studios, PMU artists, med spas, and approved distributors.
Do I need to be certified before I can order?
You’ll need to complete the certification pathway through Arts of Attraction Academy, or hold equivalent prior training, before your wholesale account is approved.
What equipment do I need?
Most licensed tattoo and PMU professionals already own what’s needed — there’s no separate laser equipment to purchase.
How is this different from offering laser removal?
Saline removal has a far lower equipment cost, treats a broader range of ink colors, and carries less risk of scarring — making it easier to add as a new service line.
